Reaction Mexico crisis

Mexico is currently living a critique situation, the disappearance of the students was just the beginning, Mexico has to raise his voice and act to make a solution, the government don't make anything, we notice that because the problems keep going, the airports and roads are being taken and there are violent attacks.
The government need to make something useful, we have to change the way we are being governed, we have to act and don't be affraid.
The society have the power, not them.

-Yes, I learn about the situation in the past, how discrimination and racism was a massive problem, and how you can finish with this problem by forgetting the fear and acting responsable.

-Stop racism, how if you act you can make huge things, I totally agree.

3.  Was there something you didn't understand about the film? What was that?

-I really understand everything on the movie.

-I like where all the maids start to help Mrs. Sketter when they finally open their eyes.

-I didn´t like the part where Stuart rejects Eugenia because she is writing the book.

-Mrs. Sketter, I like that she is white and she doesn't care about any opinions to help the maids.

-Definitely, Mrs. Hilly, she is a bad person, she does't care about any other thing than fame and power.

8.  Did anything that happened in this movie remind you of something that has occurred in your own life or that you have seen occur to others?

-No, fortunately I've never seen any act of racism.

9.  What were you thinking as you finished watching the film?

-I think about all the great things that can happen if you decide to act in the right way.

-Yes, it is a very good movie, great acting, and a very honest message.

11.  What part of the story told by the movie was the most powerful? Why?

-When Minny decided to take revenge to Mrs. Hilly, because it not only reflects the action, it reflects the power of the people and how you can make a change.

-I would ask Aibileen if she could do this book a long time ago, would she do it?

13.  If you had a chance to ask the screenwriter a question, what would it be?

-I won't ask her anything, maybe just what happened to the main characters and congratulate her.

14.  If you were writing the screenplay for this movie, would you have changed the ending? Explain your answer.

-No, i'll leave it the same way, it is perfect, the problems that they had, and also the good things.

-Joy, Anger and desperation.

-More than Mrs. Hilly, I think that Mrs. Leefolt made me angry by the way she treated Mae Mobley.

17.  Did you come to respect any of the characters in this movie? Who was it and why did you come to respect that character?

-I respect Aibileen and Mrs. Sketter, because of the power they reflect on people, and how they weren't afraid of anything.

Reflection about LOOK UP!/Digital Diet

Our society has changed in the last years because of technology, people need their cellphones in day to day activities, they can't live without them.
Traditions have changed in an immense way, we don't enjoy the experiences we have, instead we worry about posting a photo of it, the communication between people is nearly dead.
We have to make a change if we want to enjoy life and really live experiences.
I start the change with my person, I don't use my phone in every situation, I prefer to talk with people, read a book, have fun with friends.
Let's enjoy the little moments, turn off your phone for a minute.

Apps useful for your majors.

Some apps are very useful to College students, some of them are platforms to popular links used on College, others just help you make your homework easy and interactive.

My first app it's called OWA, this one is a platform to the mail of ITESM, instead of going to the website everyday, with OWA you connect both pages and receive notifications of every mail you get.

The second app it's called Note Anytime, is like Microsoft Word but for iphone or ipad, I know you can download word on your ipad, but you need an account, note anytime is account free and it work the same way as word.

One app that all the Tec community should have is MiTec, this app is great for everything related to ITESM CEM, on MiTec you can see your grades, your schedule, jobs if you're interested, Emergency, maps, news, library, contact, events, etc.

One app that I discover on high school is Time table, with MiTec I get rid of this one, but if your college doesn't have a platform like MiTec, this one is great, you can create your schedule in a very easy way.

If you're interested on learning new languages, Duolingo is the key, this app it's an interactive way to learn different languages, it's very easy, the activities are really fun, and you have to enter daily to the app so that your progress don't go down.

This apps are very helpful for my day to day, they're easy to use, interactive and reach every expectations you have.

Differences between city life and country life.

Our perfect lifestyle can vary by many factors, like the likes and dislikes of the person, the activities he or she likes to do, and what resources do we need to cover our necessities in an specific way.

Country life
 In my opinion country life is great if you like to be relaxed, breathe peacefully, you like a quiet area, and if you like to be on your own.
The people in the country think different than the people in the city, they're more narrow-minded, they're very religious, also they're more united because there is no too many people.

Advantages
-You don't have to worry about a lot of things, just to cover your necessities, like to cook your dishes, to get your resources in a different way, but also you can just enjoy and do the things you like for hours and hours without any preoccupations.

Disadvantages
-The services are less effective, to get food, water, it depends on the part of the country, but it's difficult to get them, you have to travel long distances to get food, or maybe you need to harvest them.

City life
The city is great if you're a social person and like to be busy all the time, you can see all the people in a hurry for everything even if they're on time; you can do many activities, but the problem is that there is crowded everywhere.

Advantages
-City services are great, you have all the services covered in your home, and if you don't, with a phone call you get them, there are a lot of things to do, you can meet many people, the majority of the people is open-minded.

Disadvantages
-It is crowded everywhere, if you want to go to the theatre or to the cinema, you have to get your tickets one or two hours earlier to get place, it is very polluted, all day and all night you will hear sounds, from sirens to voices.

ESSAY

My favorite restaurant.

My favorite restaurant is "Morton's steakhouse", there is only one in Mexico city. It is very fancy, the food is delicious form the soup to the dessert, but it is very expensive.

Morton's steakhouse is very fancy. From the moment you enter you receive the best service, when the hostess takes you to your table, 3 waiters are assigned to each table. Each table has a little golden lamp at the center. There is a red carpet and the lights make you feel comfortable.

Morton's steakhouse hast the best food I've ever tasted!
The soup is excellent and served at the perfect temperature. The lobster and steaks are glorious. You have to order the dessert with an hour of anticipation because they bake it at the moment.

Expensive is another word you usually use when describing Morton's steakhouse, I think that the food and the service is worth the price.
Prices are around $500-$1200 per person, from the soup to the steak, not even mentioning the wine.

For all those reasons, "Morton's steakhouse" is my favorite restaurant. The food is incredible, expensive but totally worth it, and perhaps it's one of the fanciest restaurants in Mexico.
